Surgical treatment of a giant polypus of anus – case report and literature review

Giant polypuses of anus occur extremely rarely. These are benign tumors which may enlarge as a result of inflammation, fibrosis or oedema. The following article presents a case of a female patient who underwent surgical treatment due to a giant polypus fibrous of anus, and also reviews the latest literature dealing with the treatment of a giant polypus of anus.
