We present a case of a 54-year old man treated successfully for left sinus of Valsalva aneurysm who was admitted to the cardiology department due to acute coronary syndrome with ST elevation. Coronary angiography revealed aneurysm of the left Valsalva sinus and the patient was immediately referred to the cardiac surgery department. During the operation performed in the cardiopulmonary bypass, aneurysm mouths were closed with simple direct suturing on two Teflon patches.
Postoperative course was uneventful and the patient was discharge from hospital 6 days after surgery. Echocardiographic follow-up showed no cardiac abnormalities.
