A group of 80 women (51.4±3.3 years), having commenced transdermal HT – matrix patches with 17β-estradiol, entered this study. The observational period – six months of HT. The following parameters were under evaluation: climacteric symptoms intensity, side – effects estimation, patch detachment frequency, general efficacy of the treatment. Obtained results: Transdermal therapy is an effective and safe kind of HT especially in patients additionally encumbered by general illnesses.
