Urostomy is a kind of urinary-skin fistula. The aim of the procedure is the possibility of urine flow by connecting the kidney, ureter or bladder with the skin directly or with use of the bowel. The way of urine flow depends on the disease, stage of neoplasm, stage of renal insufficiency, psychological state of patient and age of patient. The aim of the article was to show the rules of care of patients with urostomy.
