Nutrition support can be used in situations when enteral nutrition is impossible, contraindicated or insufficient. In every case it is an aggressive intervention which influences on patient’s metabolism and may risk in appearance of dangerous complications. Success of nutrition therapy depends on knowledge, skills and commitment of the whole therapeutic team. Today, nurses tend to use simplified, unitary and clean medical documentation. ICNP® is undoubtly the first international standard and adequate work tool for nurses. In this study diagnoses and nursery interventions used among patients with parenteral nutrition are presented.
