It is essential to emphasize the role of medical rescue teams and the nurse within Emergency Medical Services. Undoubtedly, it is the nurse together with the remaining members of the team who are the first to arrive on the scene and it is them who provide advanced medical assistance until the victim gets to the Emergency Department and until further medical help is available. It is essential both to provide advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation as soon as possible and to eliminate all life-threatening conditions which might lead to further injury. The aim of this thesis was to analyze particular nursing problems which might appear among patients suffering from politrauma and multiple injuries.
