The significance of fitoestrogens in the light of currant knowledge

Fitoestrogens are the group of nonsteroids plants compounts about structure and function similar to natural estrogens. Fitoestrogens particuraly useful for women health in menopause period because of their special coincidence to estrogen receptors. They can influence soothing hot flashes, inhibiting osteoporosis, lowering cholesterol level and anticancerogenic effect. They are a good choice for women with contraindications for hormonal replacement therapy.
