Systemic sclerosis is a rare connective tissue disorder characterized by fibrosis an vascular obliteration in the skin, gastrointestinal tract, lungs, heart and kidney. In the course of the disease joints problem can be observed. Calcific deposits in the subcutaneous and periarticular tissue or resorption of the terminal phalanges of the hand and feet were noticed. Resorption of the ribs, distal clavicula and mandibula have been observed too. We report the case of mandibular osteolisis in patient with systemic sclerosis. This is one of the uncommon cases described in literature.
