Tętniaki rzekome tętnicy skroniowej powierzchownej występują w praktyce klinicznej stosunkowo rzadko. Najczęstszą przyczynę tętniaków rzekomych stanowi uraz. Leczenie chirurgiczne tego typu tętniaka wciąż jest podstawową i najbardziej popularną metodą leczenia. W niniejszej pracy opisano skuteczne chirurgiczne leczenie tętniaka rzekomego po urazie u 91-letniej chorej, a także dokonano przeglądu najnowszego piśmiennictwa odnoszącego się do diagnostyki i leczenia tętniaków rzekomych tętnicy skroniowej powierzchownej.
