The aim of this study was presentation of efficacy of endometrial electroresection in treatment of abnormal bleedings of women in perimenopausal stage. Patients were qualified for hysteroctopy because of medical history, gynecological examination, intravaginal USG examination. 20 patients in the age of 45–48 years were examinated. In all cases complete resection of endometrium was made using resectoscop loop with monopolar current. Then character of bleedings and state of quality of patients life (change for the better) after one year from hysteroctopy were controlled. Research which was made shown that in 8 (40 %) cases from 20 operated patients spontaneous bleedings have not occurred. In 10 cases (50 %) periodic bleedings were still present. In 2 cases (10 %) patients still had abnormal bleedings and one of them was qualified for another hysteroscopy. On the grounds of researches which were made it was ascertained that hysteroscopical electrorection could be the procedure of first choice in treatment of persistent bleedings.
