Fibromyalgia syndrome (FS) is a rare condition in children of unknown etiology. It is a non-inflammatory rheumatic disorder of soft tissues characterized by chronic widespread musculoskeletal pain and other clinical symptoms. We present a case of a girl in whom, at the 14 years old we establish diagnosis of fibromyalgia syndrome. The article also presents current concepts on immunologic disorders occurring in this condition.
