Archives of Medical Science - Civilization Diseases published high quality original articles and reviews papers in the field of lifestyle diseases are those which occur more often in industrialized countries and are associated with longevity of people. These include Alzheimer's, arthritis, atherosclerosis, cancer, asthma, chronic liver disease or cirrhosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, type 2 diabetes, heart disease, metabolic syndrome, chronic renal failure, osteoporosis, depression, stroke and obesity
