Confronting perimenopausal women’s knowledge of coronary heart disease with their health behaviours. Controversial role of hormone replacement therapy in the protection of coronary heart disease
The second part of the consensus statement aimed at management of hereditary angioedema (HAE). The currently available therapeutic options for acute and long-term treatment in HAE are presented in the light of the recently published evidence based research and recommendations. The specific situations are also addressed, namely, home treatment, management of patient with some coexisting medical conditions and management of selected subpopulations, including pregnant women and children. The significance of the close collaboration with patients is emphasized. The outcome of the statement is to improve management and uniform care of HAE patients in Poland.
