The aim of the study was to present the criteria of diagnosis,

diagnostic and therapeutic recommendations in systemic vasculitis. The Tables I–VIII present updated diagnostic criteria of these (mostly according to the American College of Rheumatology). Based on the present EULAR guidelines, the paper gives points to consider while making the diagnosis, including tests and

examinations necessary in the process (Table IX). The paper pre-

sents EULAR guidelines for the treatment of small, medium and large vessel inflammation, with particular focus on the practical aspects

(Tables X–XII).
