We analyzed the wound haeling after cesarean sections in women with diabetes mellitus in the years 2002-2003 in our hospital in Bytom. There were 338 cesarean sections in 2002 year and there were 31 women with diabetes mellitus (9.2%). Ten women with DM had bad wound healing. Five of them had suture of the wound. In 2003 year there were 440 cesarean sections and also 31 women had diabetes mellitus (7%). Seven women with DM had bad wound healing, and one of them had suture of the wound.
