Cogan’s syndrome is a rare autoimmunological disease involving structures of the eye and the ear. In some cases, particularly at the beginning of the disease occurring nonspecific systemic symptoms, such us fever, arthralgia, headache, cough, dyspnea and hemoptysis, may lead to misdiagnosis. We present a case of atypical Cogan’s syndrome in man who had been treated for rheumatoid arthritis for three years.
