About 54-94% of the population have been stung by a Hymenoptera insect during their lifetime. Hymenoptera allergy is one of the most common causes of anaphylaxis. Not only can it cause life-threatening reactions but also may worsen quality of life in affected individuals. Therefore, proper management including adrenaline self-treatment and qualification to immunotherapy is crucial.
