Takayasu arteritis involves the aorta and its major branches. The treatment of TA usually includes immunosuppressive therapy and endovascular procedures. We report the case of a 32-year old patient who was treated with immunosuppressive agents before and after angioplasty. Angioplasty was performed after ESR and CRP decreased. In our opinion the efficacy of invasive treatment depends on immunosuppressive therapy.
