Online publish date: 2017/07/17
perioral dermatitis is a common inflammatory dermatosis affecting mainly young women. Although its aetiology is not yet clear, it is said to be, in most cases, a jatrogenic disease caused by abuse of topical glycocorticosteroids. We present a case report of a patient with perioral dermatitis, and a discussion concerning therapeutic possibilities.
