Women after diagnosis felt despair and anxiety for the future.
72% of researched women described the pre-operative preparation process positively. These women were give psychological support and information. 62% of women were given support from family and friends, 3% from their doctor. Given full information to these women about post-operative activities and education about nursing care, help in daily life post-mastectomy.
