Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory disease mostly located in the terminal part of the ileum. The aim of treatment is to achieve remission and maintain it as long as possible, and to avoid complications associated with a long lasting illness as well as the use of steroids. One of the aims is also a complete mucosal healing/treatment. We would like to present a case study of a patient suffering from Crohn’s disease treated with steroids and immunotherapy. Anti-TNF-α was used with the result of a good clinical response associated with decreased Crohn’s disease activity index (CDAI) as well as a good mucosal healing ratio evaluated with Crohn’s disease endoscopic index of severity (CDEIS).
