Mode of delivery in patients with prior cesarean section

The authors analysed indications and mode of delivery in pregnant women after prior cesarean sections. The study group consisted of 131 women after prior cesarean sections. The analysed material: in the case of 83 patients tried a trial of vaginal delivery, while an elective cesarean section was performed in the case of 48 women. A trial of vaginal delivery was successful in 54.21% of cases. The repeated cesarean section was performed in 45.78% of women who tried a trial of vaginal delivery. The authors noticed an upward tendency to try a trial of vaginal delivery in women after prior cesarean sections
