Pancreatoduodenectomy using Whipple or Traverso-Longmire procedure, distal pancreatectomy or total pancreatectomy are surgical methods in the treatment of pancreatic cancer. Curative resection R0 is the single most important factor determining outcome in patients with pancreatic adenocarcinoma.
