Gastric submucosal tumors are usually asymptomatic and found icidentally during routine upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. Endoscopic sumbmucosal dissection (ESD) is new advanced technique of therapeutic endoscopy for superficial gastrointestinal neoplasms. We report the case of 35-year-old woman with small submcosal lesion of the stomach (15 × 15 mm). The tumor for en bloc was dissected. The histo- pathological diagnosis was a leyomyoma. Endoscopic sumbmucosal dissection is effective useful for en-bloc resection of gastric submucosal tumors and also is a feasible alternative to surgery.
