This paper presents two cases of massive haemobilia resulting from chronic biliary disease. Patients were successfully treated with associated endovascular artery occlusion with embolization coils, and endoscopic control of the biliary tract. We present the diagnostic course that enabled recog­nition of the pathology and implementation of a therapeutic algorithm that minimized surgical risk.
