Coeliac disease is a multisymptomatic pathology and has a heterogeneous clinical course. Coeliac disease is often diagnosed in early childhood, in adolescents and adults not only as the classic form but also as atypical forms of the disease. Hyperaminotransaminasaemia may sometimes be the first and the sole symptom of coeliac disease.
