Contemporary Oncology is a journal aimed at oncologists, oncological surgeons, hematologists, radiologists, pathologists, radiotherapists, palliative care specialists, psychologists, nutritionists, and representatives of any other professions, whose interests are related to cancer. Manuscripts devoted to basic research in the field of oncology are also welcomed.

Journal published under the patronage of Stowarzyszenia na Rzecz Walki z Rakiem „Geny Życia” (Poznan) and Fundacji Onkologii Doświadczalnej i Klinicznej (Warsaw).

OBITUARY
It is with great sadness that we bid farewell to Andrzej Mackiewicz, who passed away
on September 20, 2026.
Professor Mackiewicz was an outstanding Polish oncologist who co-founded the journal "Contemporary Oncology" (Współczesna Onkologia) and served as its Editor-in-Chief.
