In one case gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and after birth damage of the brain were diagnosed, and in two others GERD. Among symptoms of the syndrome, difficulties in feeding, and attacks of with accompanying dystonic movements of the upper part of the body dominated. In the treatment proton pump inhibitors were applied, which brought improvement. In conclusion, the cases indicate the necessity of diagnostic examination for pathological gastroesophageal reflux in children suspected of Sandifer syndrome.
