Haemobilia is a rare and difficult to diagnose cause of gastrointestinal tract bleeding and hemorrhage from gallbladder carcinoma is particularly rare reason of haemobilia. We report a case of 70 years old woman treated because of recurrent GI bleeding not diagnosed before surgical procedure, although different diagnostic procedures were performed. Cholecystectomy was performed which revealed a gallbladder tumor with blood clots within its lumen. A diagnostic and therapeutic process of patient with haemobilia caused by gallbladder carcinoma is described and discussed in our paper.
