Regular physical activity plays a very important role at every stage of human life. Its comprehensive impact also in terms of heath can not be overestimated. Unfortunately, despite many activities for the promotion of physical culture, as reported by several studies and publications, still as a society we are not very physically active. The aim of the study was to answer the questions regarding the assessment of physical activity of older course participants at Krosno University of the Third Age. The research was conducted in October 2012. It was attended by 74 people. The main research met od was a diagnostic survey and questionnaire. Based on the obtained results it can be concluded that the University provides its listeners access to a wide range of different kinds of physical activity, as evidenced by the fact that over 80% of them avail of these offers. Over 4-0% of respondents note that the time they spend on physical activity does not exceed two hours per week. On the other hand, 15% do so more than five hours per week. The most popular forms of physical activity among the respondents include classes in the pool, gym and rallies tours, hiking, biking and Nordic walking.The flnainhimpetus motivating older people to engage in physical activity is the need to move, care and attention their own eat.
