Confronting perimenopausal women’s knowledge of coronary heart disease with their health behaviours. Controversial role of hormone replacement therapy in the protection of coronary heart disease
Nutritional problems are still very important in spite of the great progress in inflammatory bowel disease treatment in the last years. From 20% to 70% of patients have malnutrition and they require nutritional treatment. There is no single universal protocol for nutrition in this group. Our intervention depends on a lot of factors. We prefer the enteral, physiological way. Proper nutritional treatment leads to a better response to treatment, maintenance of remission, improved quality of life, decreased number of adverse events and lower total costs. Nowadays nutritional treatment is a very important part of the complex procedure in inflammatory bowel disease patients.
